Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g sugar, brown
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g butter, cold
  • 200 g apples
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • e.g. raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

A hit with or without raisins. Makes about 30 cookies.

Peel the apples and coarsely grate or cut into small pieces. Mix with maple syrup, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Knead the flour with sugar, salt, egg, and butter into a crumbly dough. Mix the apples into the dough and drop teaspoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Bake at 180°C for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Place on a wire rack to cool. If you like raisins, you can mix them into the dough along with the apples.
