Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 apples, (Boskop)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g flour
  • 75 g oat flakes (seeded)
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and core the apples, and cut them into thick slices. Arrange them in a baking dish. Thoroughly mix the remaining ingredients (cinnamon to taste) and knead until a firm dough forms. Sprinkle the dough in pieces (streusel) over the apples. Bake at approximately 190-200 degrees Celsius (375-400 degrees Fahrenheit) for approximately 20-30 minutes (depending on the desired browning of the streusel). Serve hot with vanilla ice cream.
