Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g apples, peeled and cut into wedges
- 100 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 175 g flour
- Cinnamon to taste
- 1 lemon(s), juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Drizzle the apple slices with lemon juice and place them in a greased baking dish. Make a crumble batter from butter, sugar, flour, and a pinch of cinnamon powder and spread it over the apples. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 30 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream and whipped cream. You can also drizzle rum raisins or a little Calvados over the apples. This dessert also tastes delicious with gooseberries or blackberries.
