Apple crumble with quark cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • 125 g butter
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 3 apples

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Place the flour, 60g sugar, and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl. Sprinkle with the salt, egg, and softened butter. Using the kneading tools on a handheld or stand mixer, initially mix the ingredients on a low speed. Only when the flour can no longer be dusted out, knead everything on the highest speed until crumbs form. Mix the low-fat quark with 50g sugar, lemon juice, and the seeds of one vanilla pod. Alternatively, you can also fold in half a sachet of vanilla pudding powder. Peel the apples, remove the cores, and cut the flesh into small cubes. Cover the bottoms of 12 ovenproof cups or ramekins with the batter, pour a little quark mixture into each one, and then add a layer of apples. Repeat this process until the cups are about 3/4 full. Finally, cover everything with a few crumbles and then bake for about 30 minutes at 180°C (top and bottom heat). Alternatively, you can also bake in a springform pan.
