Apple curd casserole

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 500 g quark
  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 750 g apples
  • 50 g raisins
  • 50 g almond(s), flakes
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Beat the butter, sugar, eggs, and a pinch of salt with a hand mixer until fluffy. Combine the quark and oatmeal and mix well with the mixture. Thinly slice the apples and toss with the raisins and flaked almonds. Grease a round baking dish well. Layer the quark mixture and apple mixture, with the quark mixture being the last layer. Place some butter on top. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200°C for a good hour. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
