Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 200 g ladyfingers
- 5 tbsp rum or cognac
- 1 jar applesauce
- 2 packs of cream
- 1 pack of cream cheese
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 100 g sugar
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Cocoa powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Break the sponge fingers open several times and place them in a dish. Drizzle with the rum/cognac (apple juice works if you’re having kids with you). Then top with the applesauce. Whip the cream with 100g of sugar and vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form, then fold in the cream cheese. Pour over the applesauce. Mix the sugar and cinnamon to taste (a little more cinnamon is better) and pour over the cream. Finally, sieve in a fairly thick layer of cocoa powder. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
