Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 90 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 25 g sugar
  • 75 ml milk
  • 2 large apples, sour (e.g. Boskoop)
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Combine the first five ingredients in a bowl and mix until a thick batter forms. Peel and core the apples, then slice them into thin rings. Dip the apple rings into the batter and let them drain slightly. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the rings in batches over medium heat until golden brown. 65 kcal per cake.
