  • 150 g flour
  • ½ lemon(s), juice

  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

  • 30 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Grate the apples with the skin on and then mix with the lemon juice to prevent them from browning. Mix the low-fat quark with the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar. To help the dry ingredients distribute evenly throughout the mixture, combine the flour with the cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Stir the flour mixture into the quark mixture and fold in the grated apples. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat and fry the apple fritters in batches. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
