Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 m.-sized eggs
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 50 ml oil, neutral
  • 150 ml milk
  • 2 apples
  • 150 g nougat

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

thanks to apple particularly juicy and aromatic, the nougat core gives the right kick

Makes 24 muffins. Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Beat the egg and sugar until frothy. Stir in the flour, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon. Add the oil and milk and stir vigorously until a smooth, runny batter forms. Wash, core, and peel the apples, if desired. I always like to add the little pieces of peel for a splash of color. Either coarsely grate them with a food processor or cut them into small pieces. Stir these into the batter. Cut the nougat into pieces. For 24 muffins, a standard serving of nougat yields cubes about the thickness of a finger. Add two tablespoons of batter to each muffin tin, place the nougat piece in, and cover with half a tablespoon of batter. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
