Apple-Mustard Sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 apples
  • some lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 250 ml apple juice
  • 200 ml cream
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Allspice, ground
  • 2 tsp mustard, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

tastes very good with roasted smoked pork

Peel/clean the onion and apples and chop them into small pieces. Drizzle the apple pieces with lemon juice. Heat the butter in a pan and sauté the diced onions until translucent. Add the apple pieces and sauté briefly. Deglaze with apple juice and cream and season with salt, pepper, allspice, and mustard. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
