Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 20 g apple peels, dried
  • some lemon juice
  • some sugar
  • possibly peppermint
  • possibly tea, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

A great idea for using up apple peels. That’s where the important nutrients are found!

Combine cold water and apple peels and boil for 5-10 minutes. Strain the tea through a sieve and season with lemon juice and sugar. To refine: Before serving, add 2 tablespoons of peppermint and 1 teaspoon of black tea and let it steep for 2-3 minutes.
