Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 cube of yeast, fresh
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 200 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 g apple
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g honey
  • 100 g raisins
  • Cinnamon
  • 150 g nuts, grated
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fat and flour for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 25 minutes

Prepare a yeast dough from flour, yeast, 100g sugar, butter, milk, and eggs and let it rise for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, peel the apples, slice them thinly, and drizzle with lemon juice. Mix in a bowl with honey, sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle, spread the apple filling on top, and sprinkle with the grated nuts. Roll it up into a log (like a strudel) and pour it into a greased and floured large Bundt cake pan. Let it rise for another 30 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 50 minutes.
