Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g apples
  • 80 g sugar
  • 300 ml apple juice
  • some lemon juice
  • ¾ tsp agar-agar
  • some locust bean gum, 1 measuring spoon

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 6 hours 50 minutes

Wash, peel, core, and roughly chop the apples. Place all ingredients in a pan. Heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. The apples should now be soft. Blend everything finely and pass through a fine sieve. Allow the liquid to cool. Freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker and place it in a suitable container in the freezer for a few hours.
