Apple strudel from the sandwich maker

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry
  • 1 jar applesauce
  • n. B. cinnamon sugar
  • e.g. raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Roll out the puff pastry and cut into pieces sized for the sandwich maker. Once the sandwich maker is ready, lay out a layer of puff pastry. Spoon a spoonful or more of applesauce onto each triangle. Add raisins and/or cinnamon and sugar, if desired. Place another layer of puff pastry on top and close the sandwich maker. After a few minutes, this simple treat is ready. For an extra twist, you can also garnish the triangles with vanilla ice cream. One package of puff pastry is enough for 8 triangles = 8 wedges.
