Healthy sugar-free waffles

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 90 g butter, soft
  • 200 g wholemeal flour
  • 50 g almond flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 80 ml milk
  • 80 g yogurt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 13 minutes

First, whisk together the eggs and softened butter. Then, whisk together the dry ingredients (wholemeal flour, almond flour, and baking powder). Then, whisk together the milk and yogurt. Add the butter/egg mixture and the milk/yogurt mixture to the flour and whisk well until a smooth batter forms. Finally, mash the bananas with a fork and mix into the batter. Grease a waffle iron and bake the waffles in batches. This recipe yields about 11 waffles. My kids love these waffles for breakfast with, for example, berries.
