Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 175 g butter
  • 3 tbsp sugar, heaped
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g flour
  • 3 apples, possibly more
  • some jam (apricot)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Knead all ingredients (except the apples and apricot jam) together and chill for a while. Quarter and slice the apples. Pour the dough into a round baking pan or quiche dish. Slightly raise the edges. Cover with apple slices in a fan-like pattern (from the outside in). Bake at 175°C for approximately 30-45 minutes, checking occasionally (you may want to cover the apples with parchment paper for part of the baking time to prevent them from browning too much). After baking, brush the apples thinly with lukewarm apricot jam.
