Apple waffles without sugar

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 apples
  • 2 eggs
  • 80 g oat flakes
  • 230 g flour, possibly wholemeal flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 125 ml oil, e.g. rapeseed oil
  • 375 ml milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some vanilla
  • possibly butter for the waffle iron

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with banana, for approx. 12 pieces

Peel and dice the bananas and apples, then puree them with the eggs and oats. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in along with the oil, milk, salt, and vanilla. If you like, you can also fold in a few of the diced apples without pureeing them. This waffle batter is great for kids because the bananas mean no added sugar, and you can’t taste the sugar. Adults will love it too—I promise! My waffle iron makes enough for 12 waffles. Enjoy!
