Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 160 g rusks
  • 400 g applesauce
  • 2 eggs (size M)
  • 400 ml milk
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
  • n. B. Butter flakes
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

ideal for picky children

Layer the rusks in a greased baking dish. Make sure that the first and last layers are rusks. Spread some of the applesauce on each layer of rusks. Whisk the ingredients for the topping well and pour over the rusks. Sprinkle the butter flakes on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes. If the rusks start to get too brown, cover the dish with aluminum foil. Serve with a creamy vanilla sauce! It may not look as tempting, but our kids love this quick and easy pastry!
