Mauli's semolina casserole

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 150 g semolina
  • 1 pack of ladyfingers
  • 300 g potato dumplings
  • 1 can peach(s)
  • some cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Semolina pudding with peaches, ladyfingers and potato noodles

Take the pudding mix, sugar, and a little milk, and mix thoroughly (be careful of lumps!). Bring the remaining milk to a boil, then whisk in the pudding mixture. Gradually add the semolina and simmer the mixture until it reaches the desired consistency—which can also be adjusted by adjusting the amount of semolina added—while stirring constantly (be careful of the risk of boiling over!). Meanwhile, prepare the casserole dish by adding the potato dumplings as a base layer. Then break the sponge cakes into bite-sized pieces and scatter them on top. Finally, halve the peach halves to make peach quarters, divide the peach quarters into peach eighths, then divide the peach eighths into peach sixteenths, and spread the resulting peach pieces evenly over the remaining ingredients. Finish off your creation with a little cinnamon. Finally, add the semolina pudding (or pudding semolina if you prefer) and let it mature in the oven at 150°C for five to ten minutes (be careful, you risk starvation!).
