Ingredients

For the ground

  • 200 g Flour
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 80 g Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 packet Baking powder

For the filling

  • 2 Apples
  • 750 g Applesauce
  • 1 packet Custard powder
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon

For the sprinkles

  • 150 g Flour
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 80 g Butter
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients for the base together and spread them out in a springform pan (26) lined with baking paper, making an approx. 3 cm high rim.
  • Bring the applesauce with a little cinnamon to a boil in a saucepan. Meanwhile, peel the apples in quarters and cut into thin slices. Now half of the cut apples are distributed on the floor. When the applesauce bubbles, you can mix the pudding powder according to the instructions on the packet and add it to the applesauce. Now let it cook like a pudding, but don't forget to stir it.
  • Then pour the applesauce and custard mixture into the mold and spread the remaining apples on top.
  • Now knead the ingredients for the crumble and spread on top. Now bake at 160 ° C for about 50 minutes.
