Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 15 apricots
  • 15 sugar cubes
  • 65 g margarine
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • n. B. Breadcrumbs for sprinkling
  • Cinnamon – sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

makes 15 dumplings

First, cream the fat until fluffy, then stir in the egg, low-fat quark, salt, and vanilla sugar. Finally, knead in the flour. Let the dough rest for half an hour. Meanwhile, slice and pit the apricots, then add a sugar cube. Toast the breadcrumbs. Roll the dough and cut into 15 equal pieces. Flatten the dough and wrap it around the apricots. Then let the dumplings stand in simmering water for 15 minutes (do not boil!). Pat the dumplings dry and sprinkle with toasted breadcrumbs, cinnamon, and sugar.
