Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g minced lamb
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped
- 1 piece(s) ginger, fresh, finely chopped
- 1 pinch of cumin
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 8 stalk(s) of cinnamon, approx. 12 cm long
- ½ tbsp mint, finely chopped
- Salt
- pepper
- olive oil
- Sesame, white
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Knead the minced lamb with the egg, chili pepper, onion, garlic, ginger, mint, and spices. Divide the mixture into 8 portions, shape into rolls, and press firmly around the cinnamon sticks. Fry in hot oil over medium heat for about 8 minutes on all sides. Remove from the oil, drain briefly on kitchen paper, and roll briefly in sesame seeds. Serve with flatbread. The kiwi pesto from my profile also goes well with this.
