Lemon potato skewers

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 800 g potatoes, small
  • Salt
  • Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (white wine)
  • 2 tbsp meat broth
  • 1 tbsp cognac
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 6 tbsp olive oil

Boil the potatoes (unpeeled) in salted water for about 15 minutes, then halve them. Squeeze the lemons. Mix the juice with the vinegar, meat broth, and cognac. Season with salt and pepper. Chop the garlic, add it to the lemon sauce with the olive oil, and whisk well. Pour over the potatoes and let them simmer for at least 15 minutes, depending on your taste. Then thread the potatoes onto skewers and grill over medium heat for 10 minutes, turning several times, until they are well browned.
