Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes, floury
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- chili salt
- ¼ liter milk, hot
- 30 g tomatoes, dried in oil
- 1 lemon(s), peel thereof, untreated
- 2 tbsp butter, cold
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
with dried tomatoes and lemon peel
Peel and chop the potatoes, then cook with the chili salt, bay leaf, and the halved garlic clove for about 20 minutes. Drain the potatoes, discard all the spices, mash them, and stir in the hot milk. Stir in the diced tomatoes, lemon zest, and butter, and season with chili salt and nutmeg. Turkey and fish are delicious with this dish.
