Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast
  • 2 cherry tomatoes
  • 3 small olives, black pitted
  • 2 slice(s) Parma ham, thin
  • ½ ball of mozzarella
  • a few stalks of arugula
  • some Balsamic vinegar (Crema di Balsamic vinegar)
  • some olive oil
  • some salt and pepper, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Prepare the arugula, removing any tough stems and possibly cutting it again for size. Thinly slice half the mozzarella, the olives, and the cherry tomatoes. Halve the Parma ham. Remove the crust from the toast and briefly toast it in the toaster until slightly crispy (do not brown). Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle the arugula on both slices of toast. Cover one side with the tomato slices, season with a little salt and pepper, and drizzle with balsamic crema. Now place the mozzarella slices, the olives, and the Parma ham on top. Drizzle with a little more balsamic vinegar, add a little pepper if desired, and fold the slices together. Halve the sandwiches and secure them with wooden picks. Garnish with basil if desired and serve.
