Arugula salad with cherry tomatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g arugula
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • some basil, fresh
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, very good quality
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Clean and wash the arugula. Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Peel and finely dice the onion. Finely chop the garlic. Wash and pick the basil. For the salad dressing, combine the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, onion, and garlic with salt and freshly ground pepper. Season to taste. Arrange the arugula and cherry tomatoes, top with the salad dressing, and garnish with basil. Tip: Lightly toast the baguette and serve with the salad dressing.
