Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • ½ chili pepper(s)
  • 1 piece(s) ginger
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 3 spring onions
  • 1 m.-large kohlrabi
  • 1 pork fillet(s) (350 g)
  • 2 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 100 ml meat broth
  • 3 sprig(s) of basil (Thai basil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean and finely chop the garlic, chili, and ginger. Cut the bell pepper into strips, the onions into fine pieces, and the kohlrabi into sticks. Cut the fillet into thin strips and fry in 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or pan for 2 minutes. Add the garlic, chili, and ginger. Season with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and remove. Heat the bell pepper, kohlrabi, and onions in the remaining oil. Mix the ketchup and stock, then add to the vegetables along with the meat. Simmer for about 2 minutes. Season with soy sauce. Add herbs to taste. Rice goes well with this dish.
