  • 100 g asparagus, green
  • 100 g peas, frozen
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek

  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, sweet (Ketjap manis)

  • Coriander powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

with green asparagus, onions and peas

First, cut the meat into thin slices (about 5 mm thick). Press the garlic into a bowl or chop it finely and add it to the bowl. Then add the sambal oelek, some coriander, a tablespoon of peanut oil, and ketjap manis. Stir everything well. Then add the meat and mix again. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for half an hour. Meanwhile, prepare the green asparagus. To do this, trim off the bottom 1-2 cm and peel the bottom 5 cm. Cut the stalks diagonally into 2-3 cm long pieces. Once the meat is marinated, heat a pan on the stove. Sear the meat for about 2 minutes. Then remove from the pan and set aside. Now fry the asparagus with the onions in a little peanut oil. When the asparagus has softened a little, add the frozen peas and the meat with the broth. Toss until the peas are piping hot. This portion can be eaten by two people with rice or by yourself without rice.
