based on Jamie Oliver

Cook the red lentils and let them cool. Then mix the lentils with the minced meat and garam masala. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Knead the mixture vigorously and form into balls. For the sauce, finely chop the tomatoes, peeled ginger, and onion and puree them with the chili powder, curry paste, turmeric, honey, and coconut milk using a hand blender or place in a blender. Fry the meatballs in a pan with a little oil. Once the meatballs are cooked, pour the sauce over the balls in the pan and simmer briefly over low heat. Rice or naan bread, for example, makes a good side dish.
