Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork schnitzel
  • 3 bell peppers, colored
  • 1 jar pumpkin(s), pickled
  • ⅛ liter vegetable broth
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 pack of glass noodles

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Wash the meat, pat dry, and cut into thin strips. Mix with the soy sauce and let it simmer. Wash, deseed, and slice the bell peppers. Drain the pickled pumpkin and reserve the liquid. Brown the meat vigorously in hot oil and remove. Sauté the bell peppers in the frying fat, add 8 tablespoons of pumpkin juice and the broth, and cook for 5 minutes. Thicken with cornstarch. Add the meat and pumpkin and heat through. Season with soy sauce and pepper to taste. Prepare the glass noodles according to the instructions and serve with the remaining ingredients.
