Asian Roles

The perfect asian roles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Pc. Carrots
  • 2 Pc. Leek
  • 100 g Dried apricot
  • 1 Walnut-Sized piece of ginger
  • 4 Pc Pork schnitzel
  • Salt, pepper, coriander
  • 4 Discs Pineapple
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 4 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 500 ml Vegetable broth
  • ————-
  • For the sweet and sour sauce:
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 half Cup of sugar
  • 1 half Cup of pineapple juice
  • 5 El Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Chicken broth instant
  • 1 tsp Cornmeal
  • ————-
  • 250 gr Mie noodles
  • Food starch

Prepare sweet and sour sauce

  1. Put everything in a small saucepan and stir together. Bring to a boil. Then let it simmer until it thickens.

Preparation of the schnitzel

  1. Cut the carrots into sticks and the leek into rings. Cut the apricots into thin strips. Cut the pineapple into pieces. Peel the ginger, grate finely.
  2. Season the schnitzel with salt, pepper, ginger and coriander and coat each schnitzel with a 1 tablespoon of sauce. Place a few carrots, leek, pineapple pieces and apricot strips on the meat slices, roll up and pin.
  3. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the rolls all around. Deglaze with the soy sauce, broth and the remaining sweet and sour sauce, bring to the boil and stew over a medium heat for 20 minutes.
  4. Put the remaining vegetables in a saucepan, sauté with oil and season with salt, pepper and coriander.
  5. Put Mie noodles in plenty of boiling water and let simmer over low heat. Do not boil anymore.
