Asian Smoked Salmon Tartare

The perfect asian smoked salmon tartare recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 800 g Smoked salmon
  • 25 g Fresh ginger
  • 125 g Spring onions fresh, cut
  • 2 Pc. Lime
  • 50 ml Soy sauce
  • 50 ml Sesame oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1 pinch Sesame black
  1. Cut the smoked salmon into small cubes (0.5cm x 0.5cm) and place in a large bowl. Finely dice spring onions and add. Finely dice the ginger, press lightly and add to the bowl.
  2. Using a very fine grater, add the lime zest. Then add the juice of both limes.
  3. Add soy sauce and sesame oil to the bowl and mix thoroughly.
  4. Season to taste with salt and pepper and refine with black sesame and chillies as desired. Caution: Do not let it steep for too long, the acidity of the limes cooks the salmon.
