Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 700 g Brussels sprouts
- 50 ml olive oil
- 1 onion(s), red
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 chili pepper(s)
- 1 piece(s) ginger root
- 1 lime(s), juice
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- possibly coriander leaves if required

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Trim the Brussels sprouts and cut a cross into the stalks. Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Deseed and finely chop the chili pepper. Peel and finely chop the ginger. Squeeze the lime. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, chili, honey, lime juice, ginger, and soy sauce to make a marinade. If you want to add the coriander, you can also add it to the marinade, chopped finely. Add the Brussels sprouts to the marinade and mix thoroughly. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes. Then spread them out on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 15-20 minutes on the middle rack. The Brussels sprouts will remain firm to the bite.
