Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 jar asparagus (330 g)
  • 4 slice(s) ham, raw
  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 2 small spring onions
  • 1 small pepper
  • 2 slices of toast
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • Spice mix (Chinese spice)
  • Herbs of Provence
  • Spice mix (for Aglio Olio e´peperocino)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Drain the asparagus. Wrap 4 asparagus spears each in raw and cooked ham. Leave the remaining (usually 2) as they are. Finely slice the spring onions and peppers and place them in a small bowl. Season with 1 tablespoon of water, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Chill for about 1 hour. Sear the rolled asparagus and the remaining asparagus spears in a little oil. Serve lukewarm on a plate, drizzle with the dressing, and serve with a slice of toast.
