Asparagus Florentine

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg asparagus, white and some asparagus water
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 300 g leaf spinach (frozen)
  • 1 point Hollandaise sauce
  • 100 g double cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the asparagus, cut into approximately 4-5 cm long pieces, and cook as usual. Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the onion, crush the garlic clove, and sauté both in the butter. Add the spinach and let it thaw. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg (to taste). Mix the hollandaise sauce with the cream cheese and a little asparagus liquid, then stir into the spinach. Place the asparagus in an ovenproof dish and spread the spinach mixture over it. Bake in the oven at 220°C for about 20 minutes.
