Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 kg asparagus, peeled
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Arrange the peeled asparagus on two levels. Set the steamer for 40 minutes. Swap levels halfway through. After the “fork test,” you may need to increase the time. My steamer is a Philips and doesn’t have a temperature control; I can only set the cooking time. If you like, you can add salt to the water, but it’s not necessary.
