Zucchini and carrot vegetables

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small zucchini
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • olive oil
  • Salt and pepper from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the zucchini and carrot. Cut the zucchini into pieces. Trim the carrots, if necessary, and cut each into 1 x 1 x 2 cm sticks. Heat the olive oil, add the carrot pieces, and fry until they are lightly browned all over and are “al dente.” Then add the zucchini pieces and fry briefly. When the zucchini pieces are also slightly browned in places, season lightly with salt and freshly ground pepper. This pairs well with fried fish, for example.
