Asparagus One Pot Pasta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 250 g rice noodles
  • 100 g diced ham
  • 250 g asparagus, green
  • 200 g cream
  • 450 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

With green asparagus and ham in a creamy sauce

Wash the asparagus, trim off any woody ends, and cut into 2 cm pieces. Chop the onion and garlic and fry in a pan. Add the diced ham and fry in the pan, then add the asparagus. Add the rice noodles and fry briefly. Deglaze with vegetable stock and cream and simmer for about 12-15 minutes, until the noodles are tender. Stir frequently. Stir in the spices and cream cheese and season to taste.
