Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (spirals), 0.39 EUR
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed, 1.95 EUR
  • 1 pack of leeks, depending on offer approx. 3 EUR
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Vegetable broth, granulated

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Low-priced discounter dish

Brown the minced meat in a little oil and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Clean and wash the leek, cut it into rings, and fry it. Add the raw pasta and fill with 2 liters of water. Season with granulated vegetable broth (about 2 tablespoons) and cook until the pasta is tender. It doesn’t look that great, but it tastes delicious! Price per person: approximately 1.10 EUR (March 2009).
