Asparagus pasta casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg asparagus, fresh
  • 400g penne
  • 2 packs of hollandaise sauce
  • 1 point cooked ham
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda)
  • nutmeg
  • Sugar
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the asparagus and cut into approximately 4 cm long pieces. Add it to boiling water with a pinch of salt and sugar and cook for about 15 minutes. Cook the pasta until al dente. Chop the ham into small pieces and mix it with the cooked pasta and asparagus. Place it in a baking dish. Heat the hollandaise sauce, stir in about 3 tablespoons of the asparagus water, and season with nutmeg. Pour over the ingredients in the dish and mix lightly. Grate the cheese and sprinkle it on top. Bake at 175 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
