Asparagus pizza with marinated strawberries

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g white asparagus
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 package of pizza dough from the refrigerated section or homemade
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 10 strawberries
  • 125 g mini mozzarella (buffalo mozzarella)
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel the asparagus, trim off the woody ends, and slice the stalks diagonally. Clean the spring onions and slice them thinly. Marinate both in olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and arrange the asparagus and spring onions on top. Bake the pizza on the lowest rack in an oven preheated to 250°C (top and bottom heat) for about 10-15 minutes. Thinly slice the strawberries, marinate them in the balsamic vinegar, and arrange them on the pizza along with the mozzarella balls. Finish baking the pizza briefly in the oven.
