Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1,000 g asparagus, white
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil (or other neutral-tasting oil)
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- pepper
- Dill or chives
- 2 eggs (hard boiled)

Trim the asparagus and cut diagonally into 3-4 cm long pieces. Meanwhile, bring water to a boil, then cook the asparagus slices with salt and sugar for about 12 minutes. Remove the asparagus, drain well, and transfer to a bowl. Add the vinegar and oil. If desired, add finely chopped eggs and season with oil, vinegar, pepper, salt, and dill (or chives) to taste.
