Asparagus with Beef Meatballs and New Potatoes

The perfect asparagus with beef meatballs and new potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Asparagus:

  • 600 g Asparagus
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 piece Lemon
  • 2 Beef buns with mushrooms: *)

  • 3 tbsp Butter

New potatoes:

  • 200 g New potatoes (here: 6)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp Whole caraway seeds

Serve:

  • 2 Stalk Parsley
  • 2 Mini tomatoes

Asparagus:

  1. Peel the asparagus and cook in water with salt (1 teaspoon salt), sugar (1 teaspoon), butter (1 tbsp) and lemon (1 piece) for approx. 6 – 8 minutes until al dente and remove.

Hearty beef buns with mushrooms: *)

New potatoes:

  1. Peel the potatoes and cook in water with salt (1 teaspoon), ground turmeric (1 teaspoon) and whole caraway (1 teaspoon) for about 20 minutes and drain.

Serve:

  1. Divide the asparagus on 2 plates, heat / fry with the melted butter from the meatball, serve with the beef meatbulette and the new potatoes, garnished with parsley and tomato halves.
