Australian banana cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 bananas, overripe
  • ¼ cup natural yogurt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

a moist loaf cake that children love

Important: 1 cup is equivalent to a large coffee mug. Never use a whisk or food processor to prepare the cake; use only a fork, otherwise the consistency won’t be as desired! Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Mash the softened butter with the sugar and two eggs and mix thoroughly. Mash the two bananas, mix them with the yogurt, and stir into the butter, sugar, and egg mixture. Now stir in the 2 cups of flour with the baking powder and mix well. Grease a loaf pan (not too small, or the cake will shrink!) well, pour in the cake mixture, and bake for about 50 minutes. The cake will be sticky, so don’t leave it in the oven too long. Well wrapped, it will keep for a few days. It also freezes well.
