  • 500 g flour (wheat flour)
  • 5 eggs
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • ½ jar mineral water
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Place the wheat flour and eggs in a bowl and mix slowly. Gradually add the oil and mineral water. Stir until no lumps or bubbles remain. Season with salt. Place a large pot of water on the stove and bring to a boil. Attach the spaetzle grater and gradually work in the batter (only adding enough at a time to cover the pot). Bring to a boil for 2-3 minutes (until it foams). Then transfer the spaetzle to a sieve using a slotted spoon (only rinse the spaetzle if you plan to fry them later).
