- 1 avocado(s), ripe
- ½ cup butter – substitute (Yella spread), alternatively Brunch natural
- 3 spring onions
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 1 tsp, heaped tomato paste
- ¼ tsp harissa
- ¾ tsp lemon juice
- Pepper, white
- Salt
- Maggi

Avocado as a savory appetizer
Halve the avocado and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Place the flesh in a tall bowl with the remaining ingredients and blend using the multi-purpose blade of an immersion blender. Season to taste with white pepper, salt, and Maggi. Serve as an appetizer with fresh toast or crusty baguette.
