Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • ½ onion(s)
  • 100 g Camembert(s), mature
  • 150 g double cream cheese
  • 2 tsp butter, soft
  • ½ tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 1 shot of beer, to taste
  • salt and pepper
  • Caraway seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely chop the onion. Mash the Camembert and cream cheese with a fork and mix well with the softened butter, onion, spices, and salt. Season to taste. A small splash of beer will not affect the flavor or texture. Note: The mixture should be a soft paste; the Camembert is used whole, with the rind on. Arrange everything on a deep plate and garnish with horseradish slices, parsley, and wafer-thin onion rings. Serve with fresh pretzels or farmhouse bread.
