Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 tbsp white onion(s), grated
  • 1 avocado(s), ripe, peeled, pitted
  • 2 tomatoes (plum tomatoes), peeled, pitted, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp coriander greens, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 small garlic clove(s), finely chopped or squeezed
  • Sea salt, coarse
  • possibly pepper
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Rinse the grated onion in a fine sieve with cold water and drain well. This will release the onion’s crunch and give it a wonderful flavor. Mash the avocado and mayonnaise in a medium bowl with a fork and mix well. Stir in the onion, tomatoes, cilantro, lime juice, and garlic. Season generously with salt and pepper, if desired. Then spread on burger buns and enjoy.
