Bacon and Cabbage Cake

The perfect bacon and cabbage cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Pizza dough finished product
  • 100 g Streaky bacon
  • 2 Onions
  • 200 g Pointed cabbage fresh
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 150 g Cream sour cream
  • 1 El Chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Roll out the pizza dough with the baking paper on a baking sheet and prick several times with a fork.
  2. Peel the onions and cut into strips. Clean the pointed cabbage and cut into strips. Leave the bacon in a pan. Add the onions and pointed cabbage and cook for about 3 minutes. Steam while stirring. Salt and pepper.
  3. Mix the cream sour cream (or creme fraiche) with the egg yolk and the parsley. Spread half of the cream mixture on top of the pizza dough and spread the cabbage mixture over the top.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven at 210 degrees (fan oven 190 degrees) on the lowest rack for about 20 minutes. Serve hot.
