Bacon and mozzarella wraps

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 large wraps
  • 100 g bacon slices
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • n. B. Pepper, pickled
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Bake the bacon in a 200°C fan-assisted oven for about 10 minutes until crispy. Peel the onion and garlic clove and slice into thin rings. Sauté in the butter until translucent. Add the maple syrup, heat briefly, and deglaze with balsamic vinegar. Stir in the BBQ sauce. Roughly dice the mozzarella. Spread the above ingredients on both wraps, roll them up, and secure with toothpicks. Heat in the oven to your liking (I leave the wraps in the oven for a maximum of 5 minutes at 200°C) and serve immediately.
